ArtSpider is no more.
After we closed the business ArtSpider, LLC, we decided to run ArtSpider as a project while we sought a new home for it. We were given free hosting for the site (by the generous Dan Troy of Rock Solid Results). That bought us time, and we used it looking around and asking about. We hoped to find a person or organization that would like to take on the maintenance of the project, and breathe new life into it. Unfortunately, we had no luck.
Justine and I invested countless hours and thousands of dollars to get this project off the ground, but to no avail. In the end, it wore us down. And, gradually, we fell out of love with ArtSpider. It became a ball and chain, holding us back from other projects. We’ve finally decided to call it quits.
ArtSpider’s not pending, it’s passed on. This project is no more. It has ceased to be. It’s expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late project. It’s a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn’t bookmarked it in your browser, it would be pushing up the daisies. It’s rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-project.
And so, we are moving on. We thank all of you who engaged with the project and helped us along the way. So long, as they say, and thanks for all the fish.
